Conditions of use of material on websites owned directly or indirectly by
Gordon Cambell author of "Sheffield Genealogy & Family History" & "SheffGens Family & Social History".

Under English Law, it doesn't have to have "copyright" or a copyright character on any material for it to be copyrighted.

You may not post material from this site on another web site or on a computer network without permission. You may not use this site or information found at this site for selling or promoting products or services, soliciting clients, or any other commercial purpose. "This site" means any World Wide Web site authored by G Cambell (ie... "Sheffield Genealogy & Family History" and "SheffGens Family & Social History").

There are no objections to using small quotes of data from these sites for your own personal use OR to answer queries on Mailing lists and Newsgroups but attribution must be given to the author to ensure users are aware that the data is not yours and that there is copyright involved.

Confirm and acknowledge they understand all used material will come under the authors Conditions of use.

All material transcribed or copied (with permission if required) from another source should have that sources name / url etc to enable an acknowledgement to be added.

I reserve the right to refuse for whatever reason to use any offered or already accepted material that does not satisfy the above conditions.

All photographs or other material that I consider to need manipulation in whatever way I reserve the right to do so for the making of enhanced viewing.
